Your AI assistant can now create schedules
Tell your AI assistant "set up a Night support schedule, 10 pm to 6 am Paris time, Tom and Sara alternating every two weeks" and the schedule is there, with its team and its rotation. Until now it could change a schedule but not make a new one.
In the API, one POST /api/v1/shifts now takes the people (by email), the teams and the rotation along with the hours. Everything is created together, or nothing is if one email is wrong. It used to be three calls.
- Tom and Sara get a Slack message with their turns.
- Members can't create schedules from the assistant, same as in the app.
- For now it posts to a Slack channel one of your schedules already uses: tell the assistant which schedule's channel to take.
- All the fields are in the API documentation.
